Our friends at Hen’s Teeth prints are hosting a pop-up gallery and print shop in the beautiful surrounds of 3FE, Sussex Terrace on Sunday, 27th November!
Featuring new prints from local Dublin artist Helen O’Higgins, an artist talk on ‘The Art of Freelancing’ and a range of perfect Christmas gifts at an affordable price.
Following on from the great success of last month’s Fantasy 12 exhibition, HT are thrilled to announce that they will be hosting a one-day-only pop-up print shop and gallery at 3FE, Sussex Terrace, Dublin 4. In the lead up to the festive season they’ll plenty of affordable contemporary Irish and international prints that will be perfect for the art lover in your life. They’ll be chatting about the art of freelancing with Dublin artist and illustrator Helen O’Higgins at 2pm and 3FE will be serving up delicious coffees and sweet treats.
HT will be releasing several new prints that will be unveiled at the pop-up event that represent incredible talent from both Dublin and abroad. Helen O’Higgins combines mediums and uses her trademark intricate style to create incredibly detailed pieces. Meanwhile the Broken Fingaz Crew, based in Tel Aviv, will be releasing a stunning, vibrant piece with HT entitled ‘Flashbacks for Dinner’. Broken Fingaz delve into political issues via their medium of striking street art. You can hear them in a recent piece on BBC World Service too.
Some of the international artists on show include accomplished photographer Dillon Hayes, whose work has been featured in The Guardian and NOWNESS amongst others; Marina Esmeraldo, whose use of bold colour is inspired by her Brazilian upbringing and is most readily recognisable in her stunning Grace Jones print and Eddie Otchere, an incredibly accomplished portrait photographer who has captured some of the most intimate moments in behind the scenes shots with artists like Aaliyah, Biggie Smalls and Jay-Z.
HT’s roster of works contains everything from delicate pencil work to bold graphic design; haunting photography and intimate portraits.
